Join Chief Legal Officer Jeff Mateer for a deep dive into our biggest victories from this year and get an insider’s look at just how these cases are impacting the future of religious freedom.

Last week, we were privileged to present Gabe Olivier’s case at the Supreme Court.

And I can tell you that when it came time to argue Gabe’s case, the justices were highly engaged. So much so that they continued questioning our volunteer attorney Allyson Ho well past her allotted time. Some might think that means there is reason for concern. But I don’t believe that to be the case.

To help me explain, watch this interview with First Liberty attorney Nate Kellum and myself. We will give you our insights on what we heard from the justices and what their questions tell us to expect when they deliver their ruling.

Great news! We secured a victory for high school senior Sophia Shumaker.

After originally banning her Bible verse, Academy School District 20 in Colorado agreed to allow Sophia to repaint her parking space with a Bible verse and religious images.

Gabe Olivier was on a public sidewalk hoping to reach people with Gospel. Instead, he was arrested, handcuffed and loaded into a police cruiser for violating a Brandon, Mississippi ordinance. That ordinance requires him to stay in a small, distant “protest area” — a hundred yards from the people he was hoping to reach. He went to court to challenge the ordinance, but a judge refused to even hear the case.

That’s the question the U.S. Supreme Court will consider. Tune in to listen to the full oral argument – UNCUT.

Gabe Olivier was arrested, handcuffed, and loaded into the police cruiser for violating a Brandon, Mississippi city ordinance.

The ordinance requires demonstrations near the city’s amphitheater to take place in a designated “protest area.” Only Gabe wasn’t protesting. Gabe was attempting to share his faith with other visitors to the public park.

Watch what happened next and learn why we’re now fighting for Gabe at the Supreme Court.

This historic initiative from First Liberty Institute will celebrate America’s First Freedom—Religious Liberty—from now until July 4, 2026. And you’re part of it.

Gabe Olivier has had the courthouse doors slammed in this face – twice.

Watch Gabe Olivier share his story and then stay tuned as First Liberty attorney Nate Kellum discusses the upcoming oral argument at the Supreme Court.

A few years ago, flight attendants Lacey and Marli were investigated, questioned and fired by Alaska Airlines for asking faith-based questions on an employee-only website about the company’s support of the Equality Act.

That’s why we have asked the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to fix this issue for our flight attendants

Specifically, we asked the court to honor Lacey and Marli’s right to have their day in court and have the merits of their case argued before a jury of their peers.

Watch a short preview of today’s proceedings with First Liberty’s David Hacker and then we’ll send you into the 9th Circuit courtroom for all of the action.

There’s nothing free about a free speech zone. Gabriel Olivier found that out the hard way.

Gabriel, a strong believer in sharing his faith with others, routinely stood on a public sidewalk hoping to have peaceful conversations with others. But his city adopted an unconstitutional ordinance that prohibits religious speech on that public sidewalk.

Watch First Liberty volunteer attorney Allyson Ho, who will be arguing this case before the justices, discuss the Heck decision, why the justices took this case and what she does to prepare for oral argument at the Supreme Court.
